The Science Behind the Approach

The intensive is grounded in Rational Emotive Behaviour Therapy (REBT), one of the original evidence based forms of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), developed by psychologist Albert Ellis in the 1950s.

REBT and CBT based approaches have been widely researched and used across hospitals, mental health services, private healthcare settings, educational environments, therapeutic group programmes, and performance focused settings in relation to stress, anxiety, emotional regulation, resilience, behavioural change, and performance under pressure.

Fatima Bint Saeed trained and worked within private mental health hospital settings in London, including Priory, and has used REBT based approaches for years within both one to one and group therapeutic work with individuals experiencing stress, emotional dysregulation, anxiety, overthinking, behavioural difficulties, and burnout related difficulties, including professionals working within demanding and high pressure environments.
